Removing (uninstalling) programs

As a general rule do not delete anything. Most crippled computers are a result of an urge of the user to delete anything that has been read or that apparently may no longer be used. There is also a false belief that the computer will be filled soon “if I do not delete this right away”. All computers have a very large capacity for your basic files such as E-mails, letters photos saved web pages, addresses. Large is in the order of millions.
If you are told to remove a program, these are the steps to follow:

WINDOWS XP

First you need to access the CONTROL PANEL
To open CONTROL PANEL, click Start and then click CONTROL PANEL. If you do not see CONTROL PANEL on the Start menu, click on Settings, and then click Control Panel. When it opens double click Add or Remove Programs.
Wait for the list of installed programs to appear (it could take a minute sometimes)and click on the Program you want removed and click on REMOVE.

WINDOWS VISTA

In all versions of Windows Vista Once you open the Control Panel you need to select and click on PROGRAMS. The uninstal is one of the choices.
